Erfahrungsbericht - "Its not just a job!"

My name is Egon, I have 21 years old, and I am from Brazil. I am currently studying Informatik B.Sc as an exchange student, in Erlangen, and working at E.solutions. At first, for me, Eso was basically a temporary job to pay for my studies, but while I was working here, I feel that its not just it. The atmosphere here is very friendly, with a lot of help from every colleague. I learned a lot of new things, both while I was researching and trying to do my tasks, and when I was receiving help from the whole company. As I kept my studies and work going, I noticed that everyone in Eso will cheer you up, offering help when they can and trying to see if you are adapting fine to this new environment. I was learning german at the same time, a language totally new to me, and the constant contact with the language helped a lot. About this concern, everyone at eso knows at least enough English so that you are able to talk and ask for guidance.
A really great advantage of E.solutions is the flexible work time. Although some meetings and general guidelines requires that you work on a specific moment, you are free to work at your own times. For example, it is possible to work a little extra during the lectures period, so that you can take one or two days off to prepare for your exams. Despites normal workflow, Esolution also offers team events, summerparties, and other great events that aim in building a better relation between colleagues.
Now, as I am leaving Esolutions because my exchange program has ended, I see Eso with very different eyes. The people here are asking me to stay or even come back after I finish my studies. One year ago, when I started here, this was a very strange and remote idea, but now, this has become an option that I will probably choose. I have learned a lot from everyone here, and I really loved the opportunity of working here as a Werkstudent. If you are in doubt of where to do your internship, I highly recommend esolutions, and would be glad if, in some years, we became colleagues.
